What happens to AI if someone turns off the electricity? Will it get up and construct its own power sources? Will it get up and search for its raw materials? I think that Very Smart People are doing what they always do and that is underestimate the absolute chaos that we dumb people can create. What's the difference between defeating an AI enhanced robot and and armored human? The human will make decisions based on training and experience (for AI that's programing and learned programing) as well as a factor AI cannot posses. That factor is our ability to make irrational decisions based on emotion and other factors. The AI will depend on its programing and its learned behavior that is not really "Learned" but is really just added data. In simple terms Humans can F^ck things up while AI is "Perfect". No matter how smart AI gets it will never purposely F^ck things up, it will never make decisions based on anger or love. One really good example is the paradox between the need for vast amounts of energy for AI and the ongoing mass hysteria of climate control. We are going to build more and more oil based powerplants to support AI at a time when almost every Country that can build them has outlawed building them? How about the US Marines who defeated AI time and time again by doing absolutely dumb stuff that would get them killed if they had faced humans. Another example of humans over AI is the commerce transportation phenomenon. The world has created the most advanced logistics management systems and the most advance transportation machines in the history of the world. Planes, Trains, Ships, trucks, now even drones. The systems with AI help are becoming more and more pilotless, and self managed and yet the majority of the world still depends on Mules for their commerce transportation and siphon sticks for the management of them. AI is good and Dangerous just like our advancements in Nuclear Science but believe me when I say it is the so called Smart people that need to fear it.
