I hate the fair use argument from AI lovers also because when this law was created, AI didn't exist yet. Fair use was never meant for AI, it shouldn't be aplied here. It was mostly meant to allow people to critique, comment and report. Law isn't perfect, It's matched to current situation and as world changes so should law. It should be said clearly that feeding AI copyrighted material isn't legal or illegal, It's unregulated. We should advocate for clear regulations when it comes to AI companies. Too bad that chances for that are slim.
