I think that last comparison between AI and using Google images is really on point, because my opinion is that the cases where it's ok to use AI are almost exactly the same as the cases ehere it's fine to yoink an image from Google, that is when all of the below are true:
1) you are not making money from it
2) you are not claiming or implying that the piece of art is yours
3) you don't need an exact match, just an approximate representation of an idea
4) the art isn't the center piece of whatever it is you are doing
5) you don't have the financial stability to pay an artist
If any of the above is false, you are in the wrong.
