Well a company (aka OpenAI) that pretends to be non-profit only to steal billions of data, and then turning itself into a for-profit is sketchy. For non-artists imagine someone takes your photo and shifts it a little, you're still recognizable but there are small changes so it's not EXACTLY you, something is just off, now imagine someone uses your personal photos for their own profit without 1) asking for permission 2) giving you any recompensation. Alternatively, I am absolutely sure that if someone took all of your code and changed small things about it (aka for example small details, how var things are called etc.) And then sold the programme, you would be furious, yet here you keep making nonsensical arguments. Yes, you can keep using it because legislation has not caught up yet. No, it's not ethical.
