The problem here is, AI is only going to get better, not worse, and woth certain models and how training data is gathered Nightshade won't work for Every AI model. As an example, a realitvely newer Model called Illustrious generates art where the hands are almost always perfect all the time. And it works of danbooru for the training data meaning that Danbooru tags give the Ai what you are asking for. There is nothing inherently wrong with AI as most of the people using it are hobbyists, it's like any tool, it can be both good and bad. Companies should hire real artists but you shouldn't essentially poison what is a hobby, and obviously shame those that attempt to commercialize it.
