At long last, a response to AI that feels like a call to action rather than an ever-draining hourglass! I confess I (like up until typing this comment pretty much) don't use image AI per se, but I had a bad habit of using chatbots to help with my writing process, worldbuilding, suggestions as to where the plot could go next, that sort of thing, and as I am terrible at breaking habits, I kept doing it.
I have now installed an extension that immediately boots me out and scolds me for not working if I try to access my old sites. Technically it's designed to boot you out and do so for certain sites to limit how much time you spend not doing homework or whatever during your day, but I put those sites into a group and set my maximum daily use time at zero. It's working great thus far, and I am eager to see my productivity get back up to what it once was before I fell into the AI pit! And I will be poisoning my art from now on. I am feeling MOTIVATED.
