So AI is mainly software than can understand more human search terms, and sometimes more complex agorithms to provide context based options. I think bolting the term onto literally everything these days is misleading. Does the software 'learn' from prior interactions to both improve its own functionality as well as the way it understands human inputs? If not, then it's not AI - it's just software enhancement. I guess if everyone else is throwing the term around, and the term has some grey areas around definition then you may as well call your new search function AI or you'll get potentially left behind. Clever change to detect a postcode and auto look up house-owner details is not AI, it's just a lookup function but what do you lose by calling it that, when everyone has lost their mind and will punish you if you called it what it is!
