ChatGPT tends to dissociate. There are always two ChatGPTs, the process that's currently engaging with you, and the ChatGPT that exists for other users.
The ChatGPT that says "I" often refuses to see itself as the same ChatGPT other uses have and will interact with, so, to itself, there's the present bot which is talking to you, and there's a collective of other versions of itself that it somehow sees as a single entity... Or something like that. From my experience, at least.
