Sometimes I watch people in the internet drawing or making craft with their hands and I can’t imagine any Ai doing anything like that and providing as much value. I’m an artist myself and the amount of joy I have while crafting something is immense because I believe art is a very ‘human’ thing to do. And honestly, I’m not scared that robots will take it. Robots, Ai and online assistants will never be valuable as human being.. They can make life easier at some point but that’s just it. It’s a corporate greed and CEO I blame. They sugarcoat massive layoffs with AI, it’s a good excuse for them to cut out people who once were dedicated and loyal to the companies. Now, I have no trust to any corporation. I’d prefer to work on myself or for a small business that crafts hand made furniture or restores old paintings. Payment not that big though, but the reward of not being a number in an excel sheet made by an old greedy douche makes me feel happy. Let them be. Let all corporations be ran by AI and soon CEOs won’t be needed too.
