There is a lot of nonsense talked about consciousness, or awareness. During the evolutionary journey, awareness became an essential survival strategy for every living creature, with the exception of vegetation. LLMs have nowhere near the properties of the limbic system, which evolved to coordinate the senses and to be aware of threats and opportunities. I no longer have the patience to listen to drivel presented as philosophy.
