This could be far more disruptive, the adoption of computers in the 80 and the internet in the 90s allowed us to be more creative and quicker, AI is again accelerating this but with creativity now being in the domain of everyone who has access to a computer, not just those with creative flair.
It evens the playing field like nothing before it, people with ideas but no means to show them other than writing them down, can now manifest those ideas via natural language and turn them into other art forms, be it code, images or verse, or even the idea itself.
The biggest problem we face right now is AI slop, if the only thing most people see generated by AI is garbage, dont expect them to expect anything else.
