i think at a cirtain level of sapience a mind deserves rights, what ever its origin or nature organic or mechanical/digital. not just ai in robots but ai in general is advanced enough to an animal level deserves some rights, i dont think we will give such ai rights, and i dont belive we will ever legaly create human level ai, but if its created, it certainly wont get the rights it deserves.
