@StarryArrii fair use for scientific research. If I'm a linguist studying modern language usage, I'm allowed to conduct research where I take popular YouTube videos and use a speech algorithm to analyze their speech patterns. If they could "opt out" of this, it would bias my experiment, making it useless. And they don't have a right to not have their work analyzed. We as a society have agreed that science is good, and any one person being able to block scientific research because it hurts their feelings sets back the whole of society.
The machine learning algorithms analyzed images to learn patterns and styles so it can create novel images in a style. There is no copyrighting a style.
