For me it's not hard to see. I notice this a while ago, and I did not think all were fake, I thought that it was sometimes of video filter being applied to them, making them darker and making ridges in the image sharper. Sometimes when I search YouTube, almost every single thumb nail is AI generated. This is normal now and it's ruining my YouTube experience because while I love computer generated graphic like in games, the AI generated graphics are a turn off for me. I mean it can be useful in some cases, but it seems like it being used because it's the latest thing and anyone has access to it.
