I have friends who are scientists and translate \ proof read, mainly medical articles for journals. They have been having a hard time like yourself. No one seems to be really worrying about people being put out of work. The AI billionaires talked about how bad it may get, but that seems like a sales tactic on how good their AI will be. I expect there will be political parties who's policies will be to limit AI in the future. Rich actors and musicians moved really quickly to legally safeguard their jobs but no one's worrying about other types of work. Humans are becoming redundant. For you I would become an AI expert or find an irreplaceable job like you say. Maybe some ethical and human loving companies will create products without AI and have labels like "AI Free" or "no humans were harmed during the making of this product" in future.
