I think everything here, except using ai to teach kids, is great. Ai assisting teachers with some of the grunt work (my mom uses it in her work sometimes, and she has even had pd on it. It’s part of the package the school pays for to give them Microsoft office, so they may as well use it), ai grading (not talking about ai grading writing. Talking about the kind of ai that has already been in place, and adding a little to those fill in the blank quizzes so teachers don’t have to manually go in and give points to the kids who just can’t spell) even creating a concept for a lesson, but ai does not need to replace teachers, and it will not do a good job. But the core principles here sound great, and we should move closer to this, just maybe minus the ai teaching
