So when they are converted to electric, the trucks will drive 24/7 and pull into a charging station, charge themselves, and continue on. I am so scared of the "safety" these companies promise. I-35 is already one of the most deadly stretches of highway in the country, and I have driven it hundreds of times from Austin to Dallas. I can't even fathom how people would feel knowing a huge semi-truck is next to them with no human driver present. I'm not afraid of change, but this coporate automation is inherently anti-human.
