Presenting uncertain data as fact and declaring "I don't know" is a false dichotomy. AI needs to have a spectrum of "uncertainty" responses such as "It appears", "Some have suggested", "It could be that", that sort of thing. By presenting less than certain data with a caveat we get the best of both worlds.
