Ok, so, I have ADHD and autism, so by technicality, I am a “disabled” artist. I wanna say two things: 1) OMG LAVENDER YOUR ART IS FUCKING GORGEOUS. The fact that it’s having to be used to poison and thwart a malicious program that wants to steal beauty from actual artists like us is criminal. 2) I think the argument of “AI is better for disabled artists” is fucking brain dead. Again, I have mental disorders and disabilities, and so do a LOT of the people I know, so I can speak on this. I don’t know a SINGLE person like me (including myself, obviously) who supports AI. People like me prefer to actually draw. PLUS, I actually credit the start of AI to be what inspired me to start making my own art. People would look at art drawn my people and say “Ai CoUlD dO tHaT bEtTeR” and I decided to make it my goal to get better at art and prove that humanity is better than some dumbass computer. In conclusion: Lavender, your art is good, and so is everyone else’s! Human-made art will ALWAYS be better than AI, even for reference photos. No matter how bad someone thinks their art is, it’s better than this AI slop. So, fellow artists, DO NOT FALTER. DO NOT CRUMBLE. We can survive this era. Don’t let people like Lavender described get you down or let you think that your art is bad, because it ISN’T!
