Very amusing discussion. Dr. Boghossian is struggling with two conflicting aims. On the one hand, he gave ChatGPT the task of defending the con-Dei position that he himself supports and would therefore like to see ChatGPT succeed. This is obvious when, in attempting to define diversity from the pro-Dei perspective, he defines Dei in part as excluding viewpoint diversity. I know of no defender of Dei who would explicitly state that part of the DEFINITION of Dei is the exclusion of viewpoint diversity. Why would the Dei defender strawman his own position?! Boghossian is clearly throwing ChatGPT a softball here. On the other hand, if ChatGPT were to succeed in refuting Boghossian's pro-Dei arguments, he might fear that it could reflect badly on his own competence as a critical thinker and debater. It is very entertaining to watch this. Dr. Boghossian has nicely placed himself between a rock and a hard place.
