It's not really phrenology. And the implication IS NOT that men are more logical, and women are more emotional. It is that men think more in terms of logic and women think more in terms of emotion. Logical falacies are a good example of how logic doesn't always work. And they also are a good example of how people who lack strong emotional intelligence can tend to make bad choices. Almost every time a man makes a stupid decision it's because he did not properly assess his emotional attachments. And men make a lot of stupid decisions. Ironically, this post is taking an overly male framing of intelligence and valuing perceived masculine intelligence over perceived female intelligence. We have a major problem today with people evaluating logic as the supreme mode of thought; cold uncaring logic is cold and uncaring.
