Firstly I think Mr Sanders is a very intelligent man and should have been president a long time ago.
Secondly AI (Artificial Intelligence) is not and should not be confused with Automated workforce. Automation will allow products to be made within our own countries and will reduce costs of products as well as their environmental impact. It may even get to a stage where robotic workforce may be able to aid individuals in their everyday tasks and doesn't have to end up in a dystopian Will Smith movie scenario. If we ignore the misuse of phrasing of AI then Mr Sanders has some great ideas towards the end of the video however it plays out someone has to be prepared to pave the way for this future. ATM companies that profit greatly from these advancements should be willing to help however we need to be careful not to strangle them so that they can not develop technology for the future.
