​@charlesgedeonalso when it come to calculation as I also teach math. Student may attempt to use AI to answer questions to submit. I usually make up questions using the recommended text as the Base so my student when the search the net for my question can't find it as I made up the question. Now they can still use AI but AI with math wouldn't right all the steps. AI is going to skip steps. Student that actually do the work write step by step and often make mistakes so I don't mark for my exact answer I mark often like the math that they are doing is a essay and I a lot mark as I seek the general trend of their answer. If they use AI its going to skip steps and you'll see the answer jumping from one thing to the next so you have to assume their doing everything in their head. That of course is not possible. As a student I use to skip steps in math but my solution were still long. Simply skipping the mundane. But even on doing so you have mistakes change the plus signs. Change drop a variable by mistake. The absence of mistakes you know its AI. So one has to be more forgiving to student mistakes in marking. Also reward student for adding explaining or comments to their steps. A teacher in secondary or high school told me to do that I I always did. Exact answers marking cannot be the way math education should be done in the age of AI . Even when smart calculator or wolfram alpha it made some math marking more difficult but with AI will have include comments as a discussion soft skill and creativity will have to be included in the AI age. Also in person examinations will become more critical where you see how someone thinks without yhe use of technology. How they express themselves in a high pressure examination environment. Question now cannot be purely recall but interpretation.
