My main problem with generative AI is that it's going to displace half of the workforce within the next five years, and that our society is completely unprepared for the mass unemployment, poverty, suffering, and revolution that follows.
What I'm saying is that we either need to start talking about a #UniversalBasicDividend, paid for by a tax on generative AI profits, or on democratizing generative AI, as whether we thrive or starve depends on who owns the machines.
