In Ireland, cell phones are not allowed in schools at all from infants to end of secondary school. None. They take handwritten notes and have music, art, and sports as a part of the full curriculum. The primary schools integrate social emotional learning. Ireland is considered one of the most educated countries with high levels of critical thinking. Marketing is a joke. Any kid or boomer can learn how to use AI. You don't need it in school. Follow the money. It's always about money especially in the US. Kids are getting killed in school with out of control guns and now we are killing their brains, dreams, joys, challenges...you know, life :(
