I never believed self driving cars were a good idea because computers experience glitches, because, assistance with lanes can't deal with the reflection of water on tar patches reading those as paint lines and potentially driving off the road.
Obviously that's exactly what's been happening. While those making false claims should be accountable, we should do better to not fall for the "too good to be true claims". Safety should be our greatest concern.
