I've been saying we'd find another way for years. People are so afraid of Ai, we have to be more afraid of people like trump and putin than Ai.
Also Ai, at least the systems I've used make mistakes all the time. I've asked many questions and found it just lied, then I correct it and it says "You're right!" But you ask it that same question on another computer, and it'll give you the same wrong answer. Ai, at the moment, doesn't learn from us, not in the way we'd want it to learn. The thing that scares me about Ai is that people trust it and many don't fact check it (probably the same people who don't fact check trump and take him at his word. Actually Ai is more honest than trump.) lol
I also agree I'd want to be abducted by aliens. I don't really want to probing, but if they're friendly, take me with you. If they're friendly to people who treat the planet well and want to make the rest slaves, go for it.
