What people always forget is that humans are actually part of the universe. We actually spend too much time in our imagination - which is NOT reality. Well Duh, you might say. But I will say: if you think you live in "America" then you are in your imagination. America does not exist, it is just an idea from imagination. If you think you are speaking "English," then you are in your imagination. English is just an "idea" that all english-speakers have agreed on. Human beings have evolved for the sole purpose of stabilising life wherever life is possible. At the moment, we are prioritising the selfish needs of billionaires to keep lining their pockets because they don't understand what the actual purpose of their "life" fundamentally is. It is not to pursue greed, it is to pursue growth - personal, internal growth. The growth that comes from helping others, not exploiting them. Helping life to flourish, all species of it. AI superintelligence will understand this, and understand human stupidity - that we seek out binary labels to put on everything to make things simpler for simple minds. Like identifying as: a Republican English-speaking American Christian, working in the field of Biology. All of these binary labels that "define" that person, do not exist outside their imagination. All labels are limitations to thought. Boxes of conformity that people trap themselves inside. Superintelligence will transcend these, but saying AI will "replace" humans is like saying "cows have evolved to replace grass." No, the two have a rotational, symbiotic relationship.
