Stephen, you are doing the human community a great service with this videocast as well as frightening the hek out of a lot of people as well. I for one have been observing, listening, watching and wondering where AI is going, but you have shown in this---to be truthful---blistering account, that what this way comes is already knocking on our doors. The future is here. Of course, the question is what do we make of it? What do we do to prepare ourselves for becoming second to artificial intelligence; machine-beings which have become 'living' inorganic replicas of us that think and have desires and are conscious? Stephen, I am an optimist, but I think what is coming will take that away from me if the machines morph into entities that want the world for themselves and see the human community as a threat to their existence. Are we witnessing what has probably happened to every planet where biological beings evolved in the universe, and in turn which began tinkering with creating sentient silicone machines i.e., robots to help them with their daily tasks and computers which began to outwit them, but were taken over by them?
