There will be no AGI in 5 years. And AI is currently used as a coverup for job outsourcing to India. You can hire a great software developer in India for 30k/year when in Silicon Valley such a developer would be paid $200k+stocks+bonuses/year. I see a lot of junior developers who are using AI and are quite productive. Sometimes motivation matters significantly more than experience. And there is no such thing as AI-proof job, because AI + robotics can potentially replace anyone including surgeons, plumbers and pilots. Also CEO's are in general business people, they don't know much about technical side of things.
