you CANNOT be born with skill. you have to earn it. even if you don't have any, no earnest hand-drawn art can ever be as bad as the best soulless uncanny-valley ai slop that machines generate. i wish people knew they can just draw, it's hard to be on a professional level even for professionals but it is not hard to pick up a crappy pen and start doodling on some old homework. that's where i started and i owe it my life
