It sucks that some models were trained on artstation and specific artists, like Dalle and MidJourney, but stable diffusion was made without those and so were all the non-painter ai tools. It seems weird to me to be so against an entire new branch of technology just because of some minor misuse that has already started to be addressed and corrected by those building ai models.
Most of the artists saying they've already been losing jobs to ai are full of shit. Most people looking to buy art refuse to pay what it's worth so artists should be using ai to supply those people while continuing to do work for higher paying clients. It's no different from any advance in technology and there is nothing you can do to stop it as a whole. It's idiotic to even try.
