Telling a populous who literally doesn't know anything legitimately about the technology behind AI and how it works that they don't understand how it works is not gaslighting. It's stating an observable fact. There are people who do understand and there are many more who do not understand. It is a highly technical space that even most computer science development professionals don't fully understand. This is just a fact. Even people who think they understand it don't really understand it. In some capacities, some of what came about for reasoning with AI isn't really understood even by the people who created it. So, there is no actual gaslighting here. It is actually extremely deep technically and is a lot to wrap your head around... even when you're a highly technical person.
