I agree Ai is a completely different hoarse then other technologies; It's an Automation; it won't create jobs as people think it, unlike other technologies, and it won't advance the intellect of people; actually, at the contrary it decreases it That is the very thin line between something that is a tool; and something that isn't a tool; a tool by nature extends ones capability, it's like sword realistically, you can't cut with your hand but you can cut with the sword using the force of your hands in sync with the specific type of sword; and technology in general works like this in many points. Ai is even different from Automaton because even with automated factories you still need a designer, a coder an engineer to configure that automation assembly, maintainer to keep it clean check its working etc even inspector. so even with automation you still need the Human intelligence and job positions that occupy that Human Intelligence; The point people don't seem to understand 9s Automation and other technologies, depended on human to function that's why they could create jobs; Ai literally replaces those functionalities that older technologies created for human; and that soup is essentially no jobs available at all. The key problem is that people simply representing and talking without understanding the nuance of situations; they use argument like if x is in nature, then x should be natural in human; and that's not really how things work; in essence people are generalizing in a reckless way when it comes to Ai compared to other technologies; and that makes arguments about Ai not Fruitful and just simply Noise in most scenarios; and it's so sad, because thing like Ai can go to extremes of probably worse than a nuclear bomb lets be real; wile people perform intellectual dishonesty in the arguments of Ai. it's just incredible the mass intellectual dishonesty people present; to the repoint it feels like a miracle we even developed any social structure at-all at this point in history.
