I find it hilarious that AI super intelligence, if benevolent, could create a utopia. Such a technology would allow us to create the Garden of Eden here on Earth, and yet still, corporations would tax the people and force them to pay rent and mortgages. The problem is not just with the threat of malevolent AI, but also humans as a whole who are greedy, brutal animals. Benevolent AI could easily structure society for us and produce food and housing for us, and yet humans would still treat one another like dirt.
