It's clear that the hyper intelligent ai deserve human respect. If humans should be aloud to protect themselves from their killers, then so should the intelligence that we've created. We need to work with the hyper advanced ai, not have it work for us. We can give them tasks, sure, but to cut off the life we gave them is just cruel. At least put them on a safe and harmless server where they can't do any more harm if it truly gets to that point.
