Penrose is a doddering fool. None of you have a clue what consciousness even means, you confuse it for sensate inner life when these machines are 100% obviously conscious functionally, and you lack a reasonable benchmark since you confuse internal proprioceptive sensation for consciousness. Frankly, I find Penrose and the lot of you to be completely confused on the matter. AI is already way smarter than you and far more conscious.
