Some people might be born with certain talents but most people have aquired skills. Skill and talent isn't the same because for a skill you actually have to work and practice for sometimes years. Sure you may not always be able to measure up to other people's talent with skill but that isn't the point of art. It's not a race on who's better (only if you wanna like...do this as your job or only care about how many likes your post gets) it's about you enjoying the process, of you getting the urge to create and acting upon it, of never giving up even if you get tired and don't end up liking the end result. Creation shouldn't be about appealing to others, it the purest way of self expression. It could even be a scribble and it's still worth more than whatever ai makes because it was made by a person, who transmitted their feelings through each line. In ai's case some people say it's just another tool and while that's true to some extent because a printer is a tool as well, it's not comparable to a brush or a pencil. A brush can't make things for you if you just give it a prompt. You have to control each movement, go over each line and layer multiple times you carefully think about each color, the exact shades. Same for writing, you choose each word and piece together the story sentence by sentence and in the process of looking for words you might just end up learning something new and ai just...makes you miss out on all that. Sure it's easier. Sure it's faster. But it takes the joy out of creation. Art should be the last thing ai should be used for. I mean there are so many other options.
