Thanks for the cool video. There is a big mistake in the early part about the cost and complexity of running GPT4: the numbers for data and CPU hours are for training the model, not using it.
So yes, you can in fact right now download something like Lama-3 or Falcon-2 and after some setup run it on your own PC, as long as you have enough disk space, RAM and a decent GPU. And it will run pretty well.
And now for the really bad news: while making a LLM from scratch by ingesting a dataset is not feasible for individuals and even small orgs, specialising(fine tuning) a pretrained one totally is. So yes, you can totally make FlatGPT at home and have it do exactly what you said. Isn't the future amazing??
