I feel like most people compare AI to humans far too much. If we model an AI on the human brain then this makes sense, but if we don’t, why are we scared at all? An AI aware of its existence likely wouldn’t care about the preservation of its existence unless we hard wire it into its psyche. Wouldn’t a completely original consciousness be completely objective and therefore have no objectives?
