i think about angel engine having ai generated graphics because the creator didn't want to include human visual art, and i think about the idea of 'it's tiktok, you need visuals to get popular' and then i think of the magnus archives and welcomes to nightvale and the spirit bares its teeth and how much can be shared with only writing, only voice, and then i'm even more disappointed in angel engine's creation. the author could've chosen a medium that allowed them, as a human, to utilize their writing to its full potential, to hire artists to create a cover or promo image, to get booktok hooked on it. But instead, they chose the option with slightly less effort and far less humanity
