As a software engineer, I've always treated "AI", or machine learning as a tool that has its purpose in analyzing patterns and sets of data. But as time goes on, the more people exploit it for profit, the more it feels wrong. I guess we can chalk it as an inevitable end product of greed, but imo, real art can never be replaced because artists will always have something that algorithms can't replicate; passion.
