Pausing at 45:33, Ezra is having a very difficult time realizing that AI is not a person, not like a person, has qualities that are not comprehensible to humans, and may, just by some random circumstances that we cannot understand, decide to annihilate the human race. Throughout history, when a species emerges that is a little more intelligent than other species, the more intelligent species wipes out the species that is slightly less intelligent. The less intelligent species does stupid things, consumes resources and gets in the way, so the more intelligent group wipes out the lesser beings just like a country with a new war making-technology happily charges away and wipes out all their neighboring countries in order to expand their borders. When AI realizes that we will never be able to understand AI, it may see no other logical solution than to put us out of our misery.
