Companies replacing human workers with algorithms do so primarily to increase their profits. However, this profit often comes at the expense of employees who lose their jobs, a process called "wealth transfer." Recognising that this situation can't be the whole story is important. In an organised and fair society, systems will need to be in place to support the well-being of displaced workers. Assuming the total wealth remains the same, we need new methods to ensure a fair distribution
