It's possible that it could. But will plumbing and electrical companies replace their employees with them in 5 years? Will you and I want to hire them to do it in 5 years? I don't think so. It will take a generation. Those born in 2035 and grow up in a world that has robots doing general work will not think twice about hiring a robot to fix a plumbing problem. I won't. You won't. But they will.
