I was thinking about the word "artificial" and then was thinking about humans... and how from the moment we're born, we are basically programmed by what's outside us: parents; culture; family patterns; environment etc etc. There is another basic "genetic" program running... these are both kinds of intelligence in a way... and there are others maybe like sense intelligence of sensations... etc. what is artificial, the first I described? is this artificial because it's inputs are from us? or is intelligence and even consciousness outside of that? What are the limiters here of this AI, power, graphics cards, memory? I agree with his AQ... we fear this because we get a lot of our value from action. eh idk... will AI have "character" if character is built from obstacles overcome? what obstacle does AI have to overcome?
