For the past 100 years we have expected our engineers, especially the electronic ones, to create circuits that did what we wanted them to do. (Otherwise they were out of a job.) Hence we have "earth planes, screening, boot-strapping, decoupling," et all . . . now how are you going to get those same guys to reproduce a bunch of chemical signals in a bucket of water?? The whole damned brain is FOLDED over on it self to deliberately shorten the paths between bits, to MAKE it "cross-talk." How can you ever get "creativity" out of a server rack that "evolved" to be predictable - and predictably do what WE told it to do. The whole question is a logical absurdity!! Heck, we even rejected some of these models because they "hallucinated" - (yes, like Eskimo's having words for snow, we even have words for our own brains when we do it. It is why we laugh. The robot got zapped when they did it.) No. This is an answering machine. It's an encyclopedia with all the words in perfect order, It will answer the phone for you. But think for you? No, You've got the "wrong" guys to build it for you, approaching the wrong problem from the wrong direction, from the very transistor junctions and PCB layers on upwards. Not a chance. To quote the Irish policemen when asking directions "if you were trying to get to there, I wouldn't start from here."
