Everybody talks about UBI but nobody, nobody has asked or tried to answer the most vital question “who will provide the money for the UBI”? Governments? Where they will get so much money from if most people won’t work and pay any taxes? From those few AI giants? Are you sure? If they were so altruistic then you would see patterns in their actions and decision-making already now. Downsizing and optimising and looking at the cost side doesn’t seem to be a very pro-human approach.
