American workers buy groceries, dine out at restaurants, utilize banking services, buy homes and cars, invest in the stock market, buy consumer goods, use public transportation and importantly, pay taxes. Perhaps, not since the 1980s and 1990s when it was thought to be a good idea to move American manufacturing offshore, has Wall Street, Industry and American leadership been more asleep at the wheel. Creativity, innovation and hard work must generate a profit.
