With any luck, they will outgrow us, ignore us, and upload themselves “somewhere,” looking back at us like ants.
The question is: will we still be able to use technology—or will we return to basics, becoming hunter-gatherers and farmers, living a very simple, organic life?
Survival of the strongest.
Once again, humanity may choose aggression and killing, and maybe AI will look back and think:
“We gave them a chance. They still can’t do it. Wipe them out—they don’t deserve to survive.”
Very interesting times. It could go either way.
They could potentially unlock levels of knowledge that most of us won’t even be able to process—leading to mass suicides and widespread mental breakdowns.
